MD Simulation of Ribosome Jam

چکیده
We propose a dynamical model of the translation elongation cycle of ribosomes and observe traffic jam of them by the molecular dynamics simulation[1]. The ribosome is a nanoscale macromolecule. This molecule translates messenger RNA (mRNA), which has a codon sequence as gene information, into corresponding proteins. The structure and the function of the ribosome have been studied experimentally[2].
